Tips

1. Start in any location - enter it by name or zoom in on the map). Once some listings appear on the map, you can move to other locations using the mouse (no need to enter new locations). Listings can be found outside the GTA in Ontario if they are listed on the TorontoMLS.
2. Use the Zoom in or out feature to see wider or narrower parts of the GTA - the system will adivise you to zoom in if there are too many listings to view at one time.
3. You can filter by many criteria (bedrooms, washrooms, type, price - min & max, etc) but only from the beginning so you need to return to the start if you want to change a filter, e.g.; higher max price. Click on the Search Tab to change filters.
4. You can see thumbnail sketches beside a map (default setting) or Details.
5. You can sort by price (ascending or decending).
6. You can check the box to select listings to compare.
7. You can enter Points of Interest to add to the map, eg; schools
8. You can use the Print option (it will preview by default) and you can see the room dimensions info that is sometimes cutoff on the screen display (a bug they will no doubt fix some day).

This search has ALL the available listings that are currently available on MLS for the Toronto/GTA about 25,000 active listings on average at any given time. You will also see some listed beyond the GTA if they are listed on MLS elsewhere in Ontario. 

This search is just as powerful as the popular MLS.ca search. And, both have a weakness - they are limited in their search filters (mentioned above) and the system does not remember your criteria and send you automatic emails each day, they are all manual.
