| "Sweet Spot" |
|
|

|
| A Sweet Spot is a set of schools that serve a single area that score well (70% or better) for all grades (elementary, middle (if rated) and high school). |

If the Middle School is grades 7-8 only (most are), no EQAO scores are available (n/a) , we assume the best, i.e.; |
|
|
|
|
|
we assume a 7.0 or better score and include this school in a "Sweet Spot" if all the other schools (elementary and secondary) are 7.0 or better. A few Middle Schools are grades 6-8 and thus we include the grade 6 EQAO scores for these schools.

|
|
|
Sweet Spots are indicated by the bolded Elementary School.

| EQAO Ranking Scores 70%+ are also highlighted in blue - but may or may not be part of a Sweet Spot (a complete set of top schools) eg; Denlow is a top ranked elementary school but is not a sweet spot because none of the high schools are rated high enough. |
